This is a remarkable collection of projects. The juxtaposition of Taveira's sports buildings with more traditional architecture produces a collage effect, turning each of his creations into a landmark. Taveira's impact on sports architecture has been to return sports venues to their rightful place in society; user-friendly structures to be shared by the whole community.
