斯宾诺莎（1632-1677）的《知性改进论》是一部未完成的著作，写于1661—1662年，《伦理学》写于1662-1675年，这两部原著都是拉丁文。本次影印的是英国学者埃尔维斯（R.H.M. Elwes，1853-1892）的英译本，版本为美国Dover出版公司1955年版。
