由张坚和美国布鲁斯·罗伯森共同主编的《艺术--生活或观念(交互视野下的中国和美国的现代艺术)》一书为中国美术学院和美国加州大学圣塔芭芭拉分校合作主办，“泰拉美国艺术基金会”支持，来自中美各大学和研究机构的共22位学者在会议上发表主题演讲 。全书收录论文24篇，中英文对照，是一本具有国际视野的的艺术论文集。
